ABOUT ME

Strength & Conditioning Coach | CSCS® | ACE CPT | USA Swimming | CFSC L2 | PN2

I’ve been an athlete since I can remember. When I was 3 years old my parents signed me up for gymnastics class so I would stop climbing and flipping off furniture...or at least learn how to land while doing so. When I was 4 years old I begged them to sign me up for soccer in the Fall because the Spring season couldn’t come fast enough. Sports were my first love of life and continue to be one of my greatest passions.

 

What I would come to realize and struggle with throughout my career is that girls in sport were pressured to be skinny, not strong.

I wish I had me as a strength and conditioning coach when I was a girl growing up in sport. 

 

I would have taken pride in my body, my muscles…

 

I would have been comfortable and confident in my own skin….

 

I would have not regretted the “what if”….

 

I would have embraced my strength and power and not apologized for it… 

 

That is my Why.
